<p>Guests arriving at reception are greeted by our grand old fireplace in the lounge - ideal for toasting your feet after a day walking the coastal path - if you can kick the sleeping dog out of prime position! Sitting in the smugglers bar with the warm glow of the hanging parraffin lamps around you, it is easy to drift back through the centuries. Should the oak door creak open and and a tall dark handsome stranger arrive with cape & cutless, it would hardly be a surprise.</p>
