<p>Norbury House on the edge of Ilfracombe near open countryside yet only a ten minute stroll from the seafront, shops and amenities of Ilfracombe, and five minutes from the stunning North Devon coast path. We are at the top of a hill, and we are approached by a steep drive to our small car park with echelon parking. We are an ideal base for your North Devon holiday. We are a non-smoking establishment. We have suites, family and double rooms available. All have views, whether it is of our garden, or across Ilfracombe to the sea or countryside beyond. All are en-suite with showers, heated towel rails and shaver point. The rooms feature central heating, remote controlled colour television, clock CD/radio, hair dryer and generous courtesy tray. Devon Life and other quality magazines are provided in the rooms. Luxury bathrobes and slippers are also available. The hotel has a contemporary light interior featuring collections of glass, ceramics and art. Your hearty breakfast is served in the dining room, an elegant room with views to the countryside. We are an associate member of Taste of the West, featuring and supporting local produce. By evening the dining room is turned into a more intimate venue with A'la carte menu choice. Please advice us at the time of booking if you would like to make a reservation in our dining room for an evening meal. We serve a selection of beers, spirits and wines. In the lounge you will find newspapers, videos and our library of books many on gardening and the arts. For children of all ages you will also find a selection of games and toys. Our Art House conservatory is an ideal setting for a coffee. You are invited to visit our terraced gardens and find a secluded garden seat where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity with a drink or good book. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
