The Buckingham Lodge is conveniently located in a quiet tree lined road, close (walking distance) to the beach at Torre Abbey Sands, Railway Station, Torre Abbey (with its Agatha Christie Room), Conference & Leisure Centre and shops. Also within walking distance are the Princess Theatre, Harbour and main shopping centre of Torquay. This small hotel is run by the resident owners Lynda & Brian Lloyd. They aim to offer quality, value for money B&B at prices often below that charged by lower graded accommodation. The English Tourism Council has awarded The Buckingham Lodge a 4 Diamond (Guest Accommodation) grading. For the comfort and safety of all guests the Buckingham Lodge operates a strict NO SMOKING policy throughout the building. All rooms are ensuite. Prices are on a B&B basis. A licensed bar lounge is available for residents only. There are no facilities for children under age 5 or for babies. Ideally placed for all Torquay attractions and the whole of the Torbay area, the Buckingham Lodge's location is convenient for visitors to travel to other parts of South Devon. The beauty of Dartmoor is only a short drive away. </p>
