Meliá Cáceres Boutique Hotel is an ancient palace dating back from the 16th Century, in the heart of Cáceres. For the golf lovers, the Cáceres Golf Club is only a short 5 min drive.
Our hotel is located within the Roman and Arabic city walls leading to the medieval city, declared part of the 'World Heritage' by the UNESCO. The city's history of battles between Moors and Christians is reflected in its architecture, which is a blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance styles. Of the 30 or so towers from the Muslim period, the Torre del Bujaco is the most famous. Cáceres, the capital of Upper Extremadura, has a beautiful old quarter, enclosed by Moorish town walls with great watch-towers.
